Biography
Chien-Chien Hsu is devoted to professional clarinet performance and holds a Master of Performance degree from ZHdK.
She possesses both refined solo skills and extensive experience in orchestral and chamber music.
In 2021, she completed a one-year orchestral internship with the Taiwan Victor Symphony Orchestra.
In the same year, she won First Prize at the Taipei Chamber Music Competition.

Chien-Chien Hsu is a clarinetist dedicated to both orchestral performance and chamber music. She began studying the clarinet at the age of ten under the guidance of her mother, who served as her first and most influential teacher. Her early musical upbringing fostered a deep appreciation for the classical and Romantic repertoire, which continues to shape her artistic identity today.
Hsu is recognized for her refined solo playing, rich orchestral experience, and her commitment to the E-flat clarinet, an instrument she actively integrates into her artistic work.
In 2023, Hsu performed at the Selmer Music Festival in Paris. She previously appeared at the 2019 Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago, and in 2018, participated in a master class with Andreas Ottensamer—an experience that had a profound impact on her musical approach.
Currently, Hsu is focused on pursuing a professional orchestral career while also maintaining an active performance schedule through solo and collaborative projects. In addition to performing, she is dedicated to teaching, passing on the musical values and passion that have shaped her own artistic journey.
